The Photogrammetrist will play a key role in the production of airborne and/or terrestrial derived data in support of topographic survey grade mapping projects for Transportation, Land Development, and Energy Markets.
- Pre-project planning and estimation
- Process and analyze aerial or satellite imagery to create accurate 3D models, maps, and geospatial data
- Utilize production software to include DAT/EM, Microstation, Global Mapper, TopoDOT, Google Earth or other professional mapping software packages
- Perform or oversee Aerial Triangulation
- Stereoscopic compilation of data to client standards to create DEM’s and DTM’s
- Quality control and assurance of technical data to client standards and map accuracy standards
- Coordination with production teams including disparate departments and subcontractors
- Submission and/or certification of project deliverables
- Ensure quality control of processed data, adhering to industry standards and project requirements
- Continuously innovate and improve methodologies, staying updated with the latest advancements in photogrammetry and remote sensing technologies
- Document processes, methodologies, and results for future reference and collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Remote Sensing, or a related field
- ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist
- 6 years of experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration and coordination
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Ability to manage performance of Geospatial team members and handle personnel issues as appropriate or needed
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment with changing priorities depending on project workload
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Master's degree
