As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview
This position collects and processes specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs clerical duties including registration, collection and review of billing information, data entry, ordering tests, diagnosis entry, retrieval and distribution of results. Maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements. Demonstrates competence in care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
What You Will Need
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One or two years’ experience.
• CPR BLS Card from the AHA within 90 days
