Duties:

• Efficiently carry out blood draws and venipunctures.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of routine tests and comply with changes in test requirements
• Assist in correct patient identification to ensure that the patients receive the correct tests
• Carefully label and track specimens to ensure precise and efficient testing
• Adhere to infection-control and safety procedures
• Promote a supportive environment for patients by explaining the process and calming their fears or anxieties against procedures
• Maintain communications with team members and other healthcare professionals to ascertain smooth workflow
• Compile with all clinic policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction
• High attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
• Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including OSHA
• Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision
• Eager to learn
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• 18 years old and above
• Ability to pass drug tests
• High school diploma or GED
