Work Schedule:
16 hours per week, one 8 hour shift during the week and every other weekend required. AM/PM shifts. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
UW Health's Inpatient Pharmacy team is growing! We're seeking individuals who are energized by helping care for patients through diligent picking, preparation, and delivery of medications throughout University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital.
The ideal person will be:
- Team-motivated, have a high attention to detail, and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in your mathematical skills is a must!
- Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Education:
Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred - Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
Work Experience:
Preferred - One (1) year experience as a Pharmacy Technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - As defined by the enactment of 2021 WI Act 100, all candidates hired into this role on or after March 1, 2023, must apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the WI Dept of Safety and Professional Services ("DSPS"), and provide proof of application to their UW Health Recruiter prior to their start date. Failure to do so will result in delay of start date or withdrawal of offer. Current incumbents or those starting in an impacted role prior to March 1, 2023, are required to provide proof of application to their department designee no later than March 31, 2023.
