Due to Pharmacy growth, the Inpatient Pharmacy is hiring additional Pharmacy Technicians. All shifts will be rotating between first and second shifts, including weekend rotations. You will receive an additional $2.00/hr for applicable hours worked on second shift and $1.00/hr for all weekend hours worked.
We have Full-time (40 hr and 32/hr) and part-time (20/hr, 24/hr, 28/hr) opportunities available. All positions are available for full benefits upon date of hire.

Expected Starting Salary Range: 19.00 - 21.55
A technician who assists the pharmacist in certain activities such as medication profile reviews for drug incompatibilities, typing of prescription labels, prescription packaging, handling of purchase records, and inventory control, and may, where state law and hospital policy permit, dispense drugs to patients under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses. Non-sterile, non-hazard dose preparation for first fill or cartfill including preparation of oral syringes from liquid dosage forms. Delivery of patient specific doses. Prepare and perform ADC replenishment.
Compounds non-sterile, non-hazardous medications.
Performs outpatient pharmacy phone triage.
Performs insurance adjudication.
Performs medication storage inspections. Interact with pharmacy automated dispensing machines and hospital computer systems as necessary.
