Seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician for Westmoreland Pharmacy

New Albany, IN

We are seeking one Pharmacy Technician who, under general supervision and according to established procedures, will assist Westmoreland Pharmacy’s professional staff, in all aspects of the receiving, distributing, ordering, and monitoring of compound medications.

We are currently looking to fill one vacancy for a level 3 technician to work in a specialized department at our New Albany location.

Job Skills

• Will assist pharmacist in entering, filling, billing, and shipping prescriptions.
• Must work as part of a team to reach company goals.
• Prepare and dispense medication following direction and instructions of pharmacist.
• Handle yourself in a professional manner, representing the pharmacy when communicating with patients and providers.
• Answers phones and has ample customer service skills.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to stand on their feet for a long period.
• Applicants must be able to care for a variety of patients, across a wide and varied population.
• Ability to test negative on a drug screen and must have a clean background check.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Customer service experience.
