Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: 1025 W Trinity Mills Rd Suite 120 Carrollton TX, 75006
Duration: 6 week extending contracts up to 6 months (Conversion to perm opportunity at 6 months)
PR: $20.50
Interviews: one and done next week Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm (4 questions, 30 minutes)
Start Date: Feb 6th
Work Schedules:
o 1st group will have a set schedule: Sat-Wed = Saturday & Sunday 8am -4pm & Monday - Wednesday 10am - 7pm
o All Techs need to be very flexible with schedules and open to weekends
o If scheduled weekends, they do get days off during the week
o Schedules are done out a month in advance. Long-term Techs are only scheduled one weekend a month
o Once Tech gets a schedule doesn't mean they'd stay on this shift forever but start on this shift. Scheduling depends on the manager and business needs
Must haves:
-Active/valid national certification certificate issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT)
-License must be in good standing with the state of Texas
-Must pass a 7 panel drug screening
Pluses:
-5 years of experience using and maintaining automated medication counting machines
-5 years experience working in a mail order or retail pharmacy environment
-Pharmacy tech career diploma through Live Better U and Penn Foster
Day to Day:
Insight Global is partnering with a large specialty pharmacy. They are looking for onsite certified Pharmacy Technicians due to increasing volume of new clients. The role will not be patient-facing, but will involve “up & down” work making phone calls, handling medication, entering prescription data into pharmacy software data, tracking inventory, auditing and testing pill cell performance per prescribed schedule and procedures, etc.
