We are seeking a Behavior Technicianto support our Vista Care Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services operations in the Sheboygan and Oshkosh areas.

- Assess individuals served to create or update Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) in Adult Family Homes (AFHs) or Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs).
- Identify individuals' needs, evaluate problems, and provide the appropriate services.
- Conduct training on BSPs through new hire training for new staff or ongoing training for current staff.
- Must be familiar with/understand restrictive measures in Wisconsin.
- Effectively train and motivate staff to follow Nonviolent Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) protocols.
- Maintain professional communications with individuals supported, families, and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of individuals' information.
- Document mental health services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
- 1 to 2 years in a CBRF or AFH setting.
- Experience with restrictive measures required.
- Must possess a valid drivers license as this position commutes between the Sheboygan and Oshkosh areas.
- Willingness to be a certified instructor through Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or must already be an instructor.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior intervention techniques preferred.
- Familiarity writing Behavior Support Plans strongly preferred.
