- Follow all Board of Pharmacy rules and Quality Care policies.
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and accurate service.
- Provide a friendly and courteous level of customer service.
- Answer the pharmacy phone in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Record the pharmaceutical purchases of a customer into a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure general housekeeping and sanitation standards are met within store.
- Follow approved procedures for ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Coordinate returns and Out of date processing
- Assist the pharmacist in counting, pouring, mixing, labeling, compounding, and dispensing pharmaceuticals.
- Accurately and efficiently entering prescriptions into the VIP computer system.
- Compile monthly pharmacy reports as requested by pharmacists.
- Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) and is therefore required to adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the information security guidelines outlined in the Company HIPAA Compliance Manual
- 5 years of Technician experience
- PTCB nationally certified
- Must be able to Multi-task, Read, write, hear, speak, Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Must be willing to submit to random drug screening
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management
- Has transportation to rotate between 2 locations in Seven Lakes and Pinehurst NC
- Store hours 8:30 am-6 pm. Must participate in a monthly Saturday Rotation.
