HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with a large managed care company in Las Vegas, NV.
Daily Responsibilities for a Pharmacy Technician:
- Strong phone and patient skills needed with Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorder patients
- Working with a multidisciplinary team of technicians, pharmacists, sales, and program teams across the nation
- Team members are expected to complete inbound and outbound calls to patients
- Process pharmacy benefit test claims, do patient assessments, setup refill prescription orders to ship out to patients, track orders for completed deliveries through FedEx/UPS, build professional relationships with assigned patients, and working eRX/Fax queues
- Shift: 7am to 5pm PST (8-hour shift)
Required Qualifications for a Pharmacy Technician:
- Clear and active Las Vegas Pharm Tech License
- 2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail preferred)
- Expertise with Microsoft, Teams, Excel, Outlook
- CPR+ experience preferred, not required,
- High quality phone skills and customer service skills
- High school/GED or equivalent
