Pharmacy Technician

Job description

We are seeking an Experienced Certified Pharmacy Tech to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Present a positive attitude
• Understand and follow pharmacy's policies and procedures
• Accurately process prescriptions using computer software
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Assist pharmacist with typing, counting, labeling and dispensing medications
• Answer phones and ring customers at register
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Build trust and respect among co-workers to promote teamwork
• Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Data Entry (ComputerRx experience preferred )
• Compounding experience preferred but not required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
