Take care of customers whether in person or on the phone and assist the Pharmacists in preparing medication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
• Medication Preparation for Review whether it's in our retail or long-term care areas (bubble packs)
• Answer Phones
• Respond to patient requests or triage as necessary
• Contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information
• New Patient Enrollment
• Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
• Provide Excellent Customer Service
• Friendly and courteous to patients on the phone and in person
• Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
• Cash Handling
• Maintain an Orderly Work Environment
• Product Promotion-
• Complete Special Projects as Assigned by Management
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
• Readily accepts new responsibilities and take ownership in their role
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to see the big picture
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrates loyalty, fosters teamwork, and sets a positive example
• Be honest, trustworthy and respectful
