University Compounding Pharmacy is a PCAB accredited pharmacy based in Michigan, specializing in sterile as well as general compounding. Duties may include

• Using electronic scales and scanning barcodes to weigh and verify chemicals
• Harnessing your computer and math skills to guide you through the compounding process
• Compounding and/or finishing medications for human and veterinary use – creams, suppositories, solutions, suspensions, capsules, troches, triturates, and rapid dissolving tablets
• Using some cool machines – Jaansun capsule machine, mixers, unguators, tube fillers, and ointment mills
• Input prescriptions and verify appropriate information from phone, fax, and E-scribe software
• Receive inbound and make outbound calls to patients, pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare providers
• Successfully resolve issues in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service
• Work with management to continually improve performance and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required
• Accurate pharmaceutical calculations
• Available to work 40 hours/week M – F for full-time
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Have the ability and the desire to develop and grow
• Work well both independently and cooperatively in a group setting

Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
