The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for developing and providing clinical pharmacy services directed to the general patient population at AdventHealth.
The value you'll bring to the team:
• Present his/herself as a self-directed, independent, motivated learner guided by the residency program director (RPD) and the appropriate preceptor(s) for each learning experience.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including primary and consultative services, to health care providers and patients to ensure optimal drug utilization in assigned specialty area(s).
• Assist in the planning and development of clinical pharmacy activities related to specialty area(s).
• Successfully design, complete, IRB submission for approval for approval/exemption, carry out, and develop a manuscript of a major project to be determined within the first two months of residency start date.
• Effectively evaluate PharmAcademic rotations, self and preceptor(s) as assigned.
• Present assigned topics as part of education for department and/or other department staff
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy
• Must be a citizen of the U.S.A., or hold a visa allowing for the completion of the residency year.
• Must be licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Florida within 60 days of hire.
