Fort HealthCare's Pharmacy Department has a temporary full-time paid position for a Pharmacy Intern. This temporary position performs duties constituting the practice of pharmacy under the direct supervision of a supervising pharmacist (Phar 17, Pharmacy Examining Board). The Pharmacy Intern serves a dual purpose of student/apprentice in preparation for pharmacist licensure as well as contributing to the safe, effective and efficient operation of the pharmacy department.
This temporary position will take place from date of hire until the end of June. Work schedule will be 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Requirements are High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Must meet requirements of Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board Chapter Phar 17 for Pharmacy Internship, or other state's regulatory agency if applicable. CPR certification. Must have successfully completed the second year in & be enrolled at a professional bachelor's of science degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree granting institution located in WI or another state (WI PEB Phar 17).
Must be able to operate efficiently in electronic-based systems.
