Children's Wisconsin has an opportunity for a Pharmacy Intern for the Summer of 2024.
Hours: 40 hours per week/ 10 weeks Summer 2024 onsite
Rotating weekends throughout the 2024-2025 school year (remote)
Location: Children's Wisconsin Milwaukee, WI
What you will do:
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Intern 2 independently completes medication histories, compounds hazardous and non-hazardous oral medications, completes department clinical projects, and performs related duties as assigned.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy Program (must have completed the second year in pharmacy school as defined by the Pharmacy Examining Board).
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Ability to interpret written and verbal instruction
• Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Provides services in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high risk body fluids, chemotherapy agents, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals, and waste.
