Bob Johnson's Pharmacy is an award winning, locally-owned independent pharmacy. We offer traditional pharmacy services as well as long-term care and compounding. Our pharmacists and technicians are experienced and take joy in precepting students. A First or second year student starts off learning assistant and technician roles before being eased into more pharmacist-level responsibilities as they advance in their schooling.
Base wage is $20, after 90 days you are enrolled into our profit-sharing bonus program which can be worth $2-10 an hour depending on the month.
Flexible schedules offered - we won't make you work a full shift the day before a big exam.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Prepare and label medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Process prescription orders and verify insurance information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program or a recent graduate
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
