Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Technician to join our team. As a Customer Service Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, patient service, critical care, pharmacy technician, IV infusion, inhale, hospital, patient care, pharmacy, and acute care.
Duties:
- Assist patients with medication orders and inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Assist with processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Answering phones and interacting with patients and providers
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely delivery of medications
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Document patient interactions and medication information accurately
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
