This is specialized role within our pharmacy that will require answering phones, assisting patient and processing claims, filling prescriptions and stocking shelves. You will become a licensed pharmacy technician during the process and will learn everything you need to make a career out of this profession.
Duties:
Helps health care providers and patients by greeting by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
- Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
- Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication
