Pharmacist Student Intern- Outpatient (PRN) 

​The Pharmacy Intern assists with the preparation and dispensing of medications for patients, patient counseling, administering vaccinations and providing MTM (Medication Therapy Management) services. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Scheduling 

• Minimum of 28 hours per fiscal quarter 
• Weekend availability 
• Opportunities to pick-up hours during school breaks 

Qualifications 

• Enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy during the school year
• Current registration and licensure as a Pharmacist-Intern with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy
• Successful completion of the college year preceding the level of the position held
• Student must be able to work a flexible schedule and will be required to work some evenings and weekends
