Pharmacist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist as a Direct Hire Opportunity for a client. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. Your expertise in medical management, pharmacy, and various specialties such as Pediatrics, IV infusion, Medication administration, Pain management, ICU, Utilization management, ER, and Acute care will be crucial in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

You will have the opportunity to to work as a Staff Pharmacist and as a Clinical Pharmacist on the floors.

400 bed not for profit hospital, Level IV trauma

Experience you'll need: Bachelor's or PharmD, 5 years of experience, 1+ years of clinical experience with a hospital system, Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EHR), YRMCCare EHR, or similar is preferred. AZ license.

5 years of experience

1+ years of clinical experience with a hospital system
