Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to join our team. As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service. Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements - Provide clinical support and guidance to pharmacy staff, including counseling patients on medication use and monitoring for drug interactions - Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and ensure appropriate utilization management - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of pharmaceutical care activities - Implement and enforce policies and procedures to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance - Train and mentor pharmacy staff on best practices, medication safety, and aseptic technique - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes - Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, treatment guidelines, and regulatory changes Experience: - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy - Current pharmacist license in [STATE] - Minimum of [NUMBER] years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or acute care setting - Strong knowledge of IV infusion therapy, critical care medications, and medical terminology - Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy software systems for order entry, dispensing, and medication reconciliation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers and patients - Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing a team If you are a dedicated Pharmacist with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply. Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
