Pharmacist In Charge

Biologic Infusion Pharmacy is a closed door, home infusion pharmacy in Cypress, CA. We are looking for a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to join our team.

SUMMARY

The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. As well as open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The PIC would be expected to work Monday through Friday only.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active and in good standing California Pharmacist License (Rph).
• At least 3 years prior experience in an infusion pharmacy and clean room working with IV medications.
• You are proficient in standards set forth by USP <797>
• We use CPR+ software from WellSky, experience with CPR+ is a plus, but we would be willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
• You must have impeccable attention to detail, and high standards for accuracy and quality.
• Experience managing the accreditation process, we are accredited by NABP for both DMEPOS and Home Infusion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly and efficiently, while never sacrificing on quality and attention to detail.
• Supervises pharmacy support personnel, which includes activities performed, work allocation between staff, and work performance (quality and quantity of work).
• Delegates aspects of the practice of pharmacy to a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician within the parameters of their job description.
• Provides direct supervision to Pharmacy Technicians working with the Pharmacist. Direct supervision means that the supervising Pharmacist has reviewed the prescription or drug order prior to its being dispensed, has verified the final product, and is immediately available on the premises to direct the work of Interns and Technicians and respond to questions or problems.
• Works with supervisory staff to continually develop and implement ideas for delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.
• Would be expected to mix IV medications in a clean room, answer phone calls, as well as prepare orders for delivery.

• Compensation for this role is $100,000 - $160,000 depending on individual qualifications, experience, and skillset
