```Duties:```
- Review and interpret physician medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide patient care by counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications to patients, including intravenous (IV) infusions
- Monitor patients' response to medication therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct medication reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide input on medication-related issues
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and drug interactions
- Proficient in medication administration techniques, including IV infusion
- Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or intensive care units (ICUs)
- Ability to provide specialized care for pediatric patients
- Familiarity with pain management protocols and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients
This position requires a Pharmacist license in the state of employment. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
