The Quality Assurance organization has an opportunity for you to join the GTF Program Quality management team. In this role, you will lead and support activities to engage Customers, internal organizations, and internal and external producers to high levels of quality performance related to product development, certification, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Customer interfacing on collaborative activities that drive results. Driving the organization for initial Product producibility assessment, review and incorporate Supply Chain & Quality historical data and lessons learned into designs.
  • All Process and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (DFMEA and PFMEA), risk mitigation plans, quality processes and continuous Improvement. Support efforts for risk assessment.
  • Inspection readiness plans that support development program schedule; quality-related program risk identified including technical, product cost, producibility, schedule, validation, partner and budget.
  • Assess the feasibility of proposed designs and document that components  can be manufactured, assembled, tested, packaged, and delivered in sufficient quantity on schedule at an acceptable cost.
  • Actions and identified risks documented and addressed; manufacturing process integration and documentation; implementation of effective RCCA, and effective Mfg Escape CA; tracking and resolution as needed; Quality Assurance Data (QAD) requirements planning and tracking.
  • Manufacturing part requirements (cost, schedule, process); risk mitigation planning; publishing of program focused quality metrics
  • Provide recommendations and support the CIPT on targets for product safety, performance, quality/manufacturability, reliability, and service life; technology and manufacturing development plans identified supporting the development program schedule

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Potential travel required (up to 10%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of processes and procedures associated with direct part producer support.
  • Knowledge of the P&W Quality Management System and supplier quality management systems
  • Sound business judgment, strong organization, leadership, team building, social, communications, writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities.
  • High energy, dynamic individual with strong communication skills who strives for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent judgment and professional maturity •Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and external customers.
  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely, sustainable manner.

What is my role type?

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
