We have been honored to serve the Apopka area since we opened in 2008. During that time, our kennel assistants have provided irreplaceable support to our veterinary technicians. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, expressing anal glands.
- Keeping the kennel and associated areas clean, disinfected, and organized.
- Laundry
- Administering medications and assisting with treatments
- Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
- Caring for boarding and hospitalized patients during the weekend on a rotating basis.
