Pet Care Attendant

Pet Resort in Grand Junction is seeking energetic and motivated people for full-time employment as entry level Pet Care Attendants. Must be available to work Monday through Friday and Weekends... As such, you would help with all aspects of animal care in our busy Pet Resort. Prior experience is preferred but not required. If you have prior experience so much the better, especially if you would like to further develop your animal management skills or work up to potentially advance in your career.

We are looking for Pet Care Attendants to join our team! Must be available to work Monday through Friday and Weekends... Job duties include, but are not limited to such things as: cleaning dog rooms, cleaning inside and outside of the facility , scooping waste and raking gravel in the play yards, cleaning the reception areas and all around the grounds, sweeping, mopping, doing laundry, taking out trash, preparing dog's meals and giving medications, interacting with/supervising dogs in the play yards, interacting with customers, eventually assisting with some basic staff training and more...

This is a physically demanding job. You will be required to move the dogs around, interact with the dogs in our yards, lift dogs, and be able to clean dog rooms and enclosures, etc. There is a lot of cleaning involved with this job. The dogs play outside in all kinds of weather and you will be supervising them accordingly. Applicants must be comfortable working around all sizes and breeds of dogs.

We are looking for responsible people who can act professionally, show up for work on time and rarely miss their scheduled shifts. Our furry friends depend on you to make it in to work, on time. *This entry level job starts at a range of $14.50 -$16.50 per hour, with additional tips, depending upon your level of experience. Thank you.
