Pet Care Assistant Job Posting:

Ashley's Pawsitive Pet Care is hiring! We are a growing pet-oriented business. We are looking for professional, reliable, and experienced animal lovers to fill several open positions. Assistants will be required to provide excellent animal handling skills, on call bookings, overnight sittings(in pets home), and open communication with both management and clients.

Job Description:

• Attend Meet & Greets with designated supervisor
• Perform general Pet Care duties such as feeding, noticing general behavior differences, and exercising.
• Handle other general Pet Care duties such as leash walking, occasional jogging, playing with the animals, staying overnight at pets home, etc.
• Maintain a cleanliness level to ensure a clean environment for our pets and their owners
• Report any concerns to management for action
• Maintain a high standard of customer service for all clients and pets

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Animal handling experience
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Availability for flexible schedule due to business needs (weekends, holidays, etc.)
• Must be willing to take last minute bookings due to client needs
• Must have a fuel-efficient & reliable vehicle
• Must be able and willing to walk multiple miles/day.
• Must be willing to drive from client to client and occasionally have pets in your car.
• Must be authorized to work in Albuquerque, NM without sponsorship. (Must pass first background check)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
