A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN
As a Pest Control Technician, customers rely on you to solve their pest-related problems. A proactive go-getter, you enjoy going out in the field to meet with clients. Professional and personable, you demonstrate excellent communication skills as you listen to their concerns and suggest solutions. Thanks to your ongoing training, you're able to thoroughly inspect properties for infestations and correctly diagnose issues.
With safety as your top priority, you mix and apply EPA-approved pesticides in compliance with state and federal laws. You're pleased to have access to high-quality equipment that allows you to complete your work efficiently. When the job is complete, you create a detailed log of the treatments and services you provided. You're proud to have a career that allows you to help others, and you love earning a commission on top of your salary!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to bend, walk, and kneel throughout shift
