SalarySEASONAL DELIVERY DRIVERS NEEDED! No driving experience required.
FedEx Ground contractor Yates PDS Inc. with FedEx Ground is hiring seasonal drivers to deliver small FedEx packages from the comfort of their own cars.
Pay: $1.35 per stop and $0.58/mile reimbursement
Schedule:Tuesday - Saturday from 9:30AM – delivery completion (will work 8 hours or less!)
MUST USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE!
You will pick up your packages daily at our terminal and deliver them to local residences in and surrounding the area.
No Commercial driving experience necessary. Lyft/Uber/Instacart experience is a plus!
Driver Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license that you have held for at least 1 year
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and MVR check
- Must have a smartphone and cell phone service
- Must have a passenger type vehicle: car, van, truck (trucks must have a covered bed)
Vehicle Requirements:
- Vehicle model year must be 2006 or newer
- Vehicle must be in good condition (no damage, rust, stickers, or decals)
- Vehicle must be registered to you
- Vehicle must have proof of insurance: You will be responsible for maintaining state minimum level insurance coverage on your vehicle
Driver Responsibilities
- Organize and load packages to your vehicle
- Deliver 100% of packages assigned to your route
- Navigate an assigned route and scan and deliver packages to homes and businesses in accordance with high quality standards
- Perform package pickup duties as assigned
- Process paperwork related to deliveries and pickups as needed
Permanent employment may be available after the for those that prove to be productive, reliable and professional!!
