JOB DESCRIPTION
The Trainer is responsible for upholding company standards and providing an unmatched workout for our clients, while fostering community and helping our clients achieve their goals. They are also responsible for growing the member base and utilizing the promotion of additional revenue streams and system wide challenges to diversify revenue. This position requires an energetic personality and strong ability to be a Personal Trainer in a group setting. The trainer is responsible for checking and correcting form, motivating multiple clients and providing a positive community for change. The Trainer focuses on lifestyle, including mindset, nutrition, strength and burst training (HIIT), creating an environment of support to exceed our client’s expectations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train 18-25 camps per week, adhering to the Protocol provided by Headquarters.
- Perform Focus Meetings with members, working in tandem with the other training staff.
- Must be available to work evening camp and early morning times.
- Must have the strength and stamina required to set up the gym with the necessary equipment for the days workout program.
- Attend events hosted by the gym.
- Responsible for working as a team to maximize the client experience.
- Return equipment and organize/clean gym at the end of morning/evening camps to keep the gym orderly.
- Promptly report facility needs, i.e. damaged equipment, holes in walls, etc.
- Ensure safety of participants in regards to exercise technique and modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
- Work with the training team to execute on facilitating Kid Camps, community engagement and member growth.
- Attend trainer meetings, in person, weekly unless the training lead and/or Owner has been notified that you are unable. If so, watch the recorded video of the meeting and comment on it.
- Complete all assigned tasks given by the lead trainer and/or owner to aid in team organization, gym growth, and a positive experience for the members.
- Including assignments on the BLP (Burn learning portal)
- Learn the names and needs of the members to make personal connections with them.
- Willingness to participate in the feedback loop, whether giving feedback or receiving it, and being receptive to that feedback, proving willingness to learn and grow.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid and acceptable Certified Personal Trainers Certificate or a degree in an exercise science field
- Valid CPR/AED certification
- Ability to pass the Strength and Conditioning test (SAC) within 90 days of hire
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized while effectively communicating in a positive and motivating manner.
- Desire and capacity to train ALL fitness levels and Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Embodies a hustle and grind focus to achieve goals and growth, personally and professionally.
