Responsibilities:
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to determine clients' goals and needs
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients' fitness levels and objectives
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Motivate and support clients to achieve their fitness goals
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices to enhance overall wellness
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their programs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions and progress
Skills:
- 1 on 1 and Group fitness: Experience instructing Private 1 on 1 and group exercise classes or boot camps
- Physical education: Knowledge of principles and practices related to physical fitness and exercise
- Body mechanics: Understanding of proper body alignment and movement during exercise
- Physiology knowledge: Understanding of how the body responds to exercise and training
- Program design: Ability to create customized workout programs based on individual needs
- Able to effectively communicate
- Personal training: Certification, Diploma or Degree in Exercise Training and Science
- Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of human anatomy and how it relates to exercise
