WHP Studios, 1:1 personal training studios in Andersonville, Chicago, is hiring career-minded, part-time to full-time, Certified Personal Trainers (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA, CPR, etc.), to service sessions and customized workout plans for our in-person and virtual clients.
We are looking for both new trainers and experienced professionals of all ages, body types, backgrounds, etc. We welcome career changers and "non-traditional" fitness, wellness and health enthusiasts to become thought leaders in this industry.
WHP Studios is weight-neutral and HAES-aligned, which means we do not use scales, weight loss or body measurements as a metric of performance and progress.
Base hourly session compensation starts at $25/hr and increases with experience, number of sessions serviced, direct sales commissions, client retention, good ideas and annual company profit sharing.

Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1, one-on-one, and small group personal training sessions with clients
- Create a welcoming environment for all body sizes, types, experience levels and wellness goals, through personalized programs individualized for each client's unique abilities
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques and form, while adapting and adjusting seamlessly and quickly when necessary
- Provide guidance and motivation to clients both during and in-between workouts
- Market yourself to our partner businesses and in the local community to increase your reach and drive new client acquisition
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workout area
Skills/Specialties
-Women's fitness and strength training
-Healthy Aging and Senior Workouts
-Pelvic Floor, pre/post natal, pregnancy, diastasis, low back pain, bulging discs, etc
-Mobility, flexibility and rehabilitation programs
-HAES (Health at Every Size) principles and approach
-Strong knowledge of physical education, body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to design effective fitness programs for individuals or groups
- Experience in sports coaching - football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, golf, tennis, running, track and field, speed, agility, quickness, olympic weightlifting, pilates, yoga, bodybuilding, cardiovascular training and heart health, injury rehabilitation, group fitness instruction, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales and marketing skills to self promote services and upsell additional sessions or products

Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
