Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney (North Austin)
We are a high volume Personal Injury firm and looking to hire a new pre-litigation attorney. This attorney will be focusing on negotiations and other pre-litigation activities. This is a great long-term career opportunity with lots of potential for growth and is ideal for someone who wants to be a top level attorney. No experience required.
Responsibilities include:
- All aspects of pre-litigation including negotiations and evaluating loss.
- Help resolve client issues as they arise.
- Take direction from managing attorneys and execute assignments in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Required: JD and must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
- Must have valid TX driver license.
- 0-1 years Personal Injury litigation experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Competencies:
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Excellent work ethic with the drive to "get the job done".
- Must be approachable and able to communicate effectively with professionalism.
Attorney Compensation & Benefits:
Litigation Associate I
- $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 DOE.
- Bonus structure evaluation and opportunity for raises.
- Annual raises are to be expected with good performance.
Path to Partnership:
Associate (0-4 years tenure)
- $80,000.00 - $100,000.00+ (Salary & Bonuses)
- Paid TX State Bar Dues
- Paid CLE Courses
- Paid TTLA & CATLA membership dues
- Student Loan assistance after two years' tenure
Senior Associate (Qualifications for Consideration: 4-6 Years with Firm or Upper-level management tenure)
- $125,000+ (Salary & Bonus)

Partner (4-7 years with firm and 7-12 years as a practicing attorney)
- $175,000+ (Salary + Bonus)
- Same benefits as Senior Associate and
- Contract with SJ Law Firm which includes additional benefits

Senior Partner (12+ years with firm & 15 years as a practicing attorney)
- $300,000+ (Salary + Bonuses)
