Responsibilities:
- Provide Personal Care assistance to individuals in need, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the individual.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and patient care practices is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for transportation to appointments or errands.
- Knowledge of social work or nursing principles is beneficial.
- Experience in dementia care, childcare, or behavior management is a plus.
Skills:
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility limitations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care.
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and schedules.
