Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals in need of Personal Care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Duties: - Provide direct Personal Care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients - Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as necessary - Engage in activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients - Adhere to all resident rights and maintain confidentiality of client information - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care Requirements: - Previous experience in patient care or related field is preferred - Knowledge of systems for working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus - Ability to work with children and adults of all ages - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed - Familiarity with assisted living regulations and procedures is beneficial - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to maintain professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality at all times We offer competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling options. Pay: $29,388.00 - $31,422.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

• Overnight shift
