We are looking looking for an experienced and clinically competent Nurse Educator to join our prestigious perioperative team in the role of the Clinical Instructor! The Clinical Instructor for Perioperative Services is an exciting opportunity to foster growth and development for our Perioperative Team. Clinical Instructors provide a systematic process for the assessment, development, and evaluation of the organizations health care staff which in turn allows the health care staff to deliver excellent patient care. Additionally the Clinical Instructor provide on-going education of the health care staff to the organization’s philosophy, goals, policies, procedures, role expectations, and other functions needed to perform in the specific work setting. The health care staff is supported with on-going information and guidance to continue to perform and improve the way in which patient centered care is delivered.

*** Please note...The schedule varies. It is typically Monday through Friday during day time hours. The department is operational 24/7 so there is occasional need for weekends or evening/night hours.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Nurse Educator experience required.
2) Extensive experience in a perioperative area required. Operating room experience highly preferred.
3) BSN required; MSN preferred.
2) CNOR required.
3) Current CT Nursing License required.
