SalaryClinical Research Instructor
The UConn School of Dental Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position at the level of Clinical Research Instructor in the Division of Orthodontics. The position will be responsible for conducting clinical research studies including projects on accelerated orthodontic tooth movement. Responsibilities will include developing and conducting clinical studies, analyzing data, presenting the results in scientific meetings, and publishing the results. Additionally, the position requires the candidate to obtain the necessary regulatory approvals from the Institutional Review Board and any other applicable entities to conduct said research.
Required Qualifications
- A dental degree (DDS, DMD, or foreign equivalent)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Orthodontics specialty training
- Master's degree
- Research experience, especially clinical research
- Experience with publishing peer-reviewed scientific papers
