JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Quality & Performance Improvement, the Peri-Operative Coordinator is a Registered Nurse health care professional who demonstrates advanced knowledge and experience in providing care to surgical patients. Coordinates and oversees the ongoing process improvement efforts related to the care of surgical patients within Saint Francis Healthcare System JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
Typical Hours: Day Shift
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing- required
Certification/Licensure:
- Licensed to practice in the state of Missouri as an RN- required
- BLS certification- required
- BLS certification- required
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience- required
- Minimum of 3 years in operating room or invasive procedural area- required
- Demonstrates effective communication skills
- Must be able to work under stressful situations with confidence
