Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem - Ultrasound Tech-Specialist Area Bellevue.
In this role, the successful candidate will performs medically prescribed ultrasound procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interacts with patients by identifying self to patient and verifies the identity of the patient by checking the patients ID bracelet or verbal acknowledgement by patient. Technician explains the procedure and equipment to the patient clearly and provides patient privacy at all times.
• Write reports based upon completion of the scan. Documents the scans according to the departmental procedures. Enters, maintains, and records all pertinent patient data. Must use good judgment when determining if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnoses.
• Usage of highly technical equipment to produce scans and conduct procedures.
• Uses advanced judgment when determining if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnoses, or if additional imaging procedures are needed.
• Navigates and performs advanced scans using appropriate equipment.
• Alerts the appropriate medical staff of abnormalities that require immediate attention. Compares present echocardiograms to previous studies to monitor changes in present status. Carries out assignments within a realistic time frame.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certificate from an approved Ultrasound Technology education program.
• Registered as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or must be registered as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the end of the probationary period.

Required Licenses: Am Rgtry Diagn Med Sonographer

Preferred Qualifications:
Registered as American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. College graduate
