Position Summary:
This pharmacist performs the day-to-day responsibilities of drug distribution, verifies drug doses for appropriateness, and processes sterile and non-sterile prescription orders.. The incumbent performs therapeutic intervention as needed, provides drug information and consultation to other professional staff and patients, maintains patient profiles, , conducts drug therapy monitoring, and performs and supports drug compounding, and all aspects of medication management. The Staff Pharmacist is also responsible for directing technicians, performing inventory control, and actively precepting pharmacy residents, students, technicians, or interns as assigned by the supervisor. This position is a Direct Care Provider as defined in the Pharmacy Policy. Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed, as well as to travel to off site locations as required
