6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Food Service Workers at Riverview Psychiatric Center, become part of a team supporting the treatment and rehabilitation of patients challenged with mental illness by providing healthy meals, guidance, and mentorship through the day-to-day operations of our main kitchen, dining hall, and ward service.
Food Service workers prepare foods and simple special diets in a commercial sized kitchen, serve meals in institutional dining room, deliver meal carts serving to units, assist patients in learning general Food Service procedures, light housekeeping and kitchen clean up tasks, role model appropriate behavior and interpersonal communication and collaborate with patients and staff to ensure positive person-centered care.
Min. Qualifications: At least 18 years old. Applicants must have at least 6 months of Food Service experience.

The role of Food Service Worker is an involved partner in their treatment and rehabilitation by supporting their health and well-being. We are seeking applicants who are committed, compassionate, responsible, teachable, accountable and who are willing to learn to be proactive communicators to join us.
Training: We offer up to 16 hours of orientation including patient interactions, therapeutic boundaries, and on-the-job training with ServSafe practices.
Riverview Psychiatric Center, in collaboration with the community, is a center for best practice, treatment, education and research, for individuals with serious, persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders. We have a burgeoning collaboration with national and international experts in psychiatry, support a growing and wide variety of teaching and training programs, and have a collegial, supportive medical staff and hospital administration.

Pay: $21.99 - $22.00 per hour
