PeopleSoft Solutions Architect Lead

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect Lead for a remote position with occasional onsite work in Albany, NY. Applicants should reside in the EST time zone and be able to commute to Albany when necessary.

Position: The Solutions Architect Lead will develop technical strategies to enhance the HR System Modernization Program including multiple, highly customized PeopleSoft systems while maximizing PeopleSoft capabilities, limiting customizations, and increasing interoperability. The ideal candidate has PeopleSoft experience and proven ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.

JOB DUTIES:

• Participate in finalizing business requirements to develop a firm understanding of needs.
• Participate in finalizing functional and technical requirements.
• Document legacy system architecture as needed.
• Develop strategies to enhance the interoperability of the existing PeopleSoft systems to increase data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry.
• Develop technical solutions to deliver existing and new functionality while reducing the number and complexity of PeopleSoft customizations.
• Develop technical solutions to meet business needs not effectively and efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft.
• Participate in prototype and proof of concept exercises.
• Identify opportunities to streamline the number and complexity of interfaces to PeopleSoft and other applications.
• Document the to-be architecture taking into consideration State shared services, enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Participate in the development of project, workstream, and sprint planning to sequence the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality to business owners.
• Develop artifacts required to support Software Development Lifecycle standards.
• Develop analyses and other products to support Program governance and project management effort.

DELIVERABLES:

• SDLC artifacts developed to industry and State standards.
• Reports and presentations on technical analyses and recommendations.
• Reports and presentations on Prototype and Proof of Concept exercises.

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
