Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Areas of Assistance:
- Taking Care of Oneself: From dressing and grooming to eating and functional mobility, we assist children in achieving independence and confidence in self-care activities.
- Activities to Support Daily Life: We support children in tasks such as chores, meal preparation, pet care, communication, community engagement, financial management, health management, work skills, and leisure activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, one-on-one intervention to children with diverse needs in our outpatient clinic, through telehealth, and in private school settings as required.
- Collaborate closely with families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on enhancing functional abilities and achieving therapeutic goals.
- Document treatment sessions and progress comprehensively to ensure continuity of care and effective communication with interdisciplinary team members.
- Offer families home-based activities and strategies to support carryover and reinforce therapeutic gains in daily routines.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure in occupational therapy in the state of Kentucky.
- NBCOT certification.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Detail-oriented and imaginative, with the ability to develop and adapt treatment plans creatively.
- Physical capability to support children as needed, including lifting up to 40 pounds and engaging in floor-based activities.

Schedule:
- Full-time position with flexible day shifts, Monday to Friday.
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (Preferred).
- OTR and Occupational Therapy License (Required).
Work Location:
- In-person at our clinic.
