Our second location, near the San Francisco airport is seeking a part-time (with potential to grow to full time) Occupational Therapist with experience in sensory integration training to join our dynamic team.

Development is Child's Play is an established and award winning pediatric therapy clinic that has been in Cupertino for over 30 years and has now expanded to a second location in Burlingame. We are a multidisciplinary pediatric facility with highly skilled speech and language pathologists, physical therapists, and Occupational Therapists specializing in sensory integration. Services are provided for individuals with sensory processing disorders, delays in development, or motor coordination difficulties that may contribute to problems in motor skills and daily living tasks including eating, playing, sleeping, dressing, toileting, behavioral and emotional responses, and speech / communication, learning, or social interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental and sensory needs and design customized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to address sensory integration, motor and social emotional challenges and promote functional independence in daily activities.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in Pediatric Occupational therapy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- California state licensure and NBCOT registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Specialized training in sensory integration techniques preferred.
- Experience working with children in a pediatric setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
