POSITION SUMMARY:
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics, Hospital Medicine Section, University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a physician who is Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics for a 12-month full time, non-academic Pediatric Hospitalist Physician. Duties include primarily inpatient care and may include a small outpatient care component. This position is based at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. A Florida medical license will be required prior to assuming the position. The appointment is non tenure earning and salary is negotiable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position includes the management of pediatric patients at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital and coverage of the Chronic Complex Clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
- The successful candidate must have a medical degree, and be board certified or eligible in pediatrics. Candidates must have a current medical license or be eligible for an unrestricted full medical license in the state of Florida. Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization.
PREFERRED:
- Inpatient hospital experience. Board certified or board eligible in pediatric hospital medicine.
