Sarah Bush Lincoln Peace Meal Program is seeking a Site Coordinator for our Moweaqua and Atwood areas.
Peace Meal Senior Nutrition Program provides congregate, and home delivered meals to seniors in a seven-county region.
Established in 1974, Peace Meal improves the nutritional status of older adults through the provision of meals, nutrition assessment, nutrition education, food safety instruction and information about other community services.
Peace Meal Site Coordinators are responsible for supervising all operations at the assigned senior nutrition site and home delivered meal services.
Responsibilities:
- Serves food at congregate site
- Responsible for clean up and food temperatures at site area.
- Assists Region Supervisor in development of local cash donations
- Coordinates local volunteer resources for congregate and home delivered meal services.
- Assists HDM Coordinator in recruitment and screening of home delivered meal service volunteers.
- Completes Participant Information forms and Nutrition Screening forms with all congregate clients and sends to Central Office weekly
- Serves as liaison between senior nutrition site and central kitchen /caterer. Orders appropriate number of meals and provides constructive feedback concerning quality and quantity of food received.
- Accurately completes all reports concerning meals served and program income received.
- Packages food for home delivered meals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
This is a Part-Time, Monday - Friday position with hours that vary.

Pay: From $16.94 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
