Job Description
Education and training:
Associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or equivalent degree.
Experience (years, projects, etc.):
5+ years of experience.
Specific requirements (skills, etc.):
Proficiency in electronics, analog and digital circuits, and PCB design. Use of Altium tools and software packages for PCB design and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and repairing PCB issues.
Proficiency in soldering and rework techniques for repairing and replacing components on PCBs.
Knowledge and experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency generators, specialized test equipment, soldering stations, and rework stations.
Knowledge of ESD precautions and techniques to prevent damage to sensitive electronics.
Proficiency on electronics components replacement and alternate research.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts for identifying and resolving issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms. Mastery in English and local language
Strong team skills with demonstrated leadership skills.
1. Job Activities & Responsibilities
• Assembling and soldering PCB components onto the board.
• Inspecting the boards to ensure that they meet specifications.
• Troubleshooting and repairing PCBs that have been damaged or are not functioning properly.
• Testing the PCBs to make sure they are working properly.
• Installing and configuring PCBs in various electronic products.
• Designs engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
• Develops and implements parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
