Once completed, the new state-of-the-art facility will offer a vision into advanced technology PCB fabrication with the expectations of creating a world-class PCB manufacturing facility and a research and development center for the company’s patented additive manufacturing technology.

The newly upgraded facility will be best in class and will be capable of supporting emerging technologies in aerospace and defense industries, life-critical medical devices, next-gen automotive safety, autonomous driving sensors, RF/Microwave/mmWave communications and enabled 5G connectivity.

General Shop Helper

Responsibilies:

Ability to operate various pieces of equipment within the department

• Electrolytic copper plating (panel plating, pattern plating)
• Electroless copper plating and Desmear
• Nickel, soft gold, hard gold plating
• Electroless Nickel and Immersion Gold (ENIG) plating
• Resist strip, copper etch, solder strip (SES)
• Etching (Cupric + Alkaline)
• Deburring/Scrubbing and Chemical cleaning

Chemical and Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Maintain automatic chemical dosing equipment
• Manually measure out the proper quantities and make chemical adds to baths or sumps
• Manually set up and transfer solution between tanks, totes, or barrels
• Provide/assist with Equipment, Chemical, and rinse water preventative maintenance
• Work within local, state, federal laws and company guidelines regarding safety and chemical use

Production and Process Duties

• Read process traveler/instructions and process accordingly
• Review/inspect plating quality and hole size diameter/quality though visual inspections and use of measurement equipment
• Measuring trace and connector widths and plating deposition thickness and uniformity
• Inspect product for defects and conformance to product specifications
• Provide product and process support by routine inspection of product, equipment, processes, and supplies
• Assist Production Management and Engineering Department regarding product flow, quality, timeliness, and process testing and design???????

Work Enviroment

The work environment is typical of manufacturing operation. This facility contains chemicals that are known by the State of California to contain harmful or cancer causing agents. This facility contains high voltage equipment. Winonics is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
