Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Remotely with our client in Palm Bay, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The Printed Circuit Board Design as part of a product development team responsible for the design of complex multilayer digital, power supply, or RF circuit cards.
• They will work with the library team, layout designers, and electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to produce high-quality designs per the defined requirements and schedule.
• Create Logic and Footprint symbols for design engineers
• Collaborate with ECAD Library team and internal engineering customers
• Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy
• Comply with IPC-7351 standards and follow the established client design and fabrication guidelines.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency, commitment, and customer focus

• Pay Rate: $55-$65/Hour
• Hours: 9/80 1st Shift
• Length: Temp to Direct (12 Months)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 10 years experience with mechanical dimensioning in both English and metric units of measure
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience creating schematic symbols and layout footprints using ECAD tools
• Minimum of 10 years experience in PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space, PCB layout techniques, electrical schematics
• Minimum 10 years of Xpedition toolset experience (Siemens EDA)

• Associate Degree
• Xpedition EDM (Siemens EDA)
• Valor Tool Experience
• DFA spacing and tables
• Knowledge of Cadence ECAD tools
• IPC certification CID or CID+
• Understanding of the BOM/ECO process
• Experience using PLM tools
• Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Be able to work well with a team and collaborate with the PCB Librarian
• Ability to read and interpret vendor component data sheets
